Yes there are some insanely popular host on this site. I've no idea why most of them are so popular as these 'stars' seem to treat members like meal tickets and not real people (my experience and also what a lot of people say here on this forum).

The majority of the hosts here put up with a lot of crap from members and work long, boring hours. I know as my gf is a host and I know a lot of her friends who are also hosts. They all tell a very similar story.

I have to say I am pretty sympathetic to the hosts. I can't imagine having to sit in a room somewhere for hours on end waiting for a member to pop in with no warning whatsoever. It is not like they get the courtesy of a knock on the door to give them at least a few seconds. Do you expect them to sit there all perky, sexy and with a smile on their face for hour after hour while nothing is going on? If I had their job I am a 100 percent sure I would be caught napping, reading the paper or watching TV.
Perhaps you should just converse with them in text chat first to give them fair warning. That seems polite to me.

I think "some" hosts try to stay online for extended hours rather than a reasonable amount of hours being perky, prepared, alert and fun. Some brag about not getting out of their pj's even....that's not right. While she is signed in and have the cam on she should be appropriately alert and available to chat and video from the beginning. If she is too tired or bored then she should pick the busiest hours for herself and not try and make money 24/7. That should be a no brainer!!

Its true members go to IA to chat and want hardcore in Glamour. But I've seen hardcore in Glamour. And Dungeon and Fetish are in the hardcore categories. Some hosts forget to change their profiles when they move from another category to IA. I know from the comments here that it seems sometimes a host in IA incorrectly asks a member to go to 121 for a show but I have never known this to happen so it seems to be quite rare.

From what I've noticed, I think most of the movement of hosts is from IA to softcore and not the other way around. And I have to disagree with this being rare. I've noticed it happens more and more. There are numbers of girls on all cam sites that always try to "game"the system. I'm not saying its most girls doing this, but a growing minority of girls are. The rules apply to everyone.

My experience over many years says it all comes down to the host..not the category. I have had the best shows generally in Glamour and Not so Shy.. I also know the hosts did not do the same show for me as they did for others.....some others got less...some others got more. It depended on the host's mood, how much money they made that night, how they felt about the member, how much beer they drank on break, and on and on. So many variables it boggles the mind...but we are dealing with beautiful young women and they can be fickle. So if you want a show...pick a host...invest some time and money...you would be surprised how that works. Of course some hosts draw the line and say they will do nothing beyond a certain point. For them...wait a while. I have seen many legitimately shy hosts change over the course of months or a year or two. They realize that more money can be had by kicking their show up a notch or two. Patience is a virtue.

Yes i agree. Im never bored with myself, have no probs at all to spend time alone on the beach with a good book or just my thoughts. Plus, i travel to see the world, to explore new cultures and historical places, i dont travel to hang out with friends, cuz that i can do at home.

Ofc it also depends on where u go, if its Turkey or Egypt-then sure those are not the places to go alone. If its Prague for instance or Barcelona-ull be too busy sightseeing, to get bored even if alone.

Blondy, if I understand your question, yes. I would hire a guide if she knows the place I am visiting well. For example, I have always wanted to go to Genoa (Genova), and would love to have a guide. I have hired guides before, both men and women. I have never expected to jump in bed with any of them! Although, with a few of the women guides, I would not have said no if they had offered, which they did not. But usually, I hire guides that live in the place I am visiting.

sad thing is, at least as i have seen in my life, is at a certain point people can get so deep into drugs that saving them is all but impossible. all you can do is watch as they slowly kill themselves. my wish is that her death will maybe shake up at least a few people and make them seriously think about getting help for their drug addiction problem. maybe it will save them. sorry for her death still.

How do you know it didn't help anyone. Even though others continued to take drugs their deaths may have made some stop and think.

no it is really not a surprise. but if you have had to watch somebody close to you do the same thing and make the same choices it might give you a dif point of view. she might not have even been a good person, who knows. or maybe she was. but it is the worst thing ever to have to watch somebody take that path and know where it is leading to, and feel powerless to do anything about it.

It may have been inevitable but yes it was a surprise and shock to me that she died so soon, that was my first reaction when i saw the news.
I think she had a tortured soul to take this path that led to this and i hope that she has now found peace.

Yesterday I was buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for Jake the Wonder dog at Wal-Mart and was about to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had, an elephant? So, since I'm retired with little to do, on impulse, I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again.
I told her that I probably shouldn't have because, although I'd lost 50 pounds, I ended up in the hospital and I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry and that the food was nutritionally complete.
I then told her that I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story.)
Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her that it hadn't; I stepped off a curb to sniff an Irish Setter's ass and a car hit us both.
I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard!
WAL-MART won't let me shop there anymore.
