or you just don't want to spend your money on hosts here, pls don't come to text chat for chatting with hosts. Don't make things hard for other members, who going to video and want to explain to hosts what they expect from video-chat ith her.

I agree and never waste a host's time in free chat. I would also ask hosts, if a member ask in free if they do or do not strip in pvt, that they give a direct answer and not be vague.

i know one very good host who will chat to you in text chat all night long when she is here all she will say when in vid is brb is you wait til she is finish in vid she will carry on chatting to you, ive been in both vid and text chat with this special host and i'll end up staying there, i wont even look for anymore hosts as she is perfect

Well, I for one think that's a reasonable request. Please bear in mind, however, that a member may enter your text chat with some idea to go private, but may change his mind for whatever reason once he gets there and may leave instead.
I know hosts who are perfectly content to allow me to stay in text chat, but I do try not to abuse the privilege.

My credit card would never work with a host like u. I think it is essential to discuss with a host ones basic requirments b4 vid. if a host is not willing to do this i go elsewhere.
I think some hosts need to correct the balance between greed & customer service. My c/c is out of bounds to cheap & greedy hosts.
From what i have seen the most successful hosts know ho to talk to members both in & out of vid IE they understand marketing & sales. a short a brief chat to a member in free can be very profitable if a host is smart enough to convert the sale. The smartest hosts see the bigger picture. The dumb hosts just dont put the background work in & then blame members for the fact that they earn little money.
In short, rich hosts work harder & earn more. if u aint making sales dont blame ur customers.

You're right man! Some hosts think that text chat is a waste of time, and don't even bother to try to answer to guys who ask about video.

Not every text chat leads to a video. I have chatted with lots of hosts in free chat and some didn't respond, some had horrible english or were obviously using translation software, some were not very friendly, some said nothing but a constant repetition of come to pvt...come to pvt. I know you are here soley to make money. This is your job...but you are also a commodity. You are competing with hundreds of other girls. Members can be choosy and take their time picking the girl who looks right and....more importantly....feels right on the personal level. If I just want to see a hot naked girl online there are dozens of free porn sites. But...the attraction of CC is the interpersonal ...interactive....communcation that is provided by chatting before, during and after a video.
That is part of the sales job for you. That is part of what the member is looking to buy. And even if a member is short on credit for a time...he could be back later if you impress him. I have had times where I didn't have a lot of money to spend on CC and I still spoke to hosts because I had the time and added them to my favs to visit again when I had some spare cash...you can be sure you would not be one I would visit again.

i started this thread to give a clue for members why some hosts refuse to chat in text-chat at all, be thankful to that timewasters.
then again i don't mind some pre-chat, sometimes it's really need but if someone after greetings ask me stupid question like "what is ur face look like when u cumming?" .....pfffff....do u really think I would have much interests for next one in my text-chat?

I do and I know several members who brag about the fack they haven't done a pvt in years. I understand that takes you away from other members who might decide to go to private. I cut way back for a while...doing few if any videos...I kept looking at the new girls and chatting with them and after a while...I got to know a few that I really liked and I started doing videos with them...lots of videos. I am all about the interpersonal stuff. I have to like the girl and feel she is someone I would meet, get to know and have fun with in real life. So I am picky....
As for your issue...CC advertising widely that CC is a free site that allows you to chat to hot girls for free....the intent of course is for a member to become interested enough in one or more hosts to do a video and the majority do....but there are exceptions.....so don't mess up CC's advertising....have a nice chat with the cheapskate and politely tell him...thanks for stopping by...I dont want to be rude but I need to chat with my video customers.... it is all part of the job...part of running a business...you don't yell screw you at the guy leaving your store because he didnt buy anything...even after you spent time showing him stuff...all part of the overhead....

So... you bring up very good points, but on the other side of things a host cannot anticipate what you're going to do. "Overhead" should not include endless time in text chat with a member who may never go private, of course you'll agree. But that's hard to determine initially. I find some hosts strike a good balance, and I respect that.
I think host's initial request was a reasonable one. I don't take it to be rude; she was just asking members to be considerate. If the intent is NOT to go private, you're wasting her time, quite literally. She never said she wouldn't talk to a member in her text chat.

Only i thing have to say i never yell at people and never get mad if member refuse to pvt after even long chatting with me. I just keep it in mind and next member in my text-chat can't get my attention for long time...5-10 mins maximum and I invite to my pvt if he finds excuse for not go there i just say brb and don't chat with him anymore.

the host is right there are those that do come and talk endlessly and not do video and then get mad when the host gets busy with others who do video and may do video.

For example 18 -25, 26 to 40, 41 to 55, over 55, 90% dead etc. Yes I know we viewers lie like rugs. But using your best estimate what age group makes for the best viewer overall?

When you're in Text Chat…next to the SEND button…there's a pull down menu that gives you two options. You can choose to send your messages to the host PRIVATELY, so the chat is only between you and her. However, the default setting at CC is actually SEND TO ALL, which means everyone in the chat room can see and read what you're saying. Whenever I visit my favorite host, there's always some guy who will show up and think he is Mr. Sex Stud or Mr. Romance -- and he forgets to change the setting. At which point it's often HILARIOUS to just sit there quietly and read what some guys will say to a woman, thinking that they're being Mr. Smooth.

Some members open multiple windows at a time. They do that because a lot of hosts don't respond right away or sometimes not at all. They also are trying to check out several girls at once. Sometimes they forget about an open window if they get engaged in a good conversation with another host. Sometimes they wait for the host to speak first....again sometimes the host is asleep or otherwise occupied ...like in another conversation....

From other side i sometimes have a members who visit my text-chat first just to know me a lil bit before video or explain what they want from me in video and then we have nice and full of fun the videochat...and get both satisfied. So not always text chat is time waster. We hosts just have to sort out members and their real intentions.

I like to know the personality of a webhost before taking a video. I can usually find that out in less than 5 mins. If a girl ignores me in text chat; I assume she cares of nothing but the money; and dont really feel like taking a video with her.
Sure , a girl who is friendly and welcoming in text chat for 5 mins, probably just cares about the money as well..........but atleast she made the effort lol......and I know she has an engaging personality which I appreciate in a web cam host.

I've noticed over time that sometimes a host will list as Open Session and Private one-on-one session, and other times will list only as Open Session. I've always just assumed that it was because the host made a choice to offer 1-2-1 in addition to Open.
But tonight it dawned on me that when it just shows Open session, it means 1-2-1 is not available because another viewer is already in session with the host. If both options are there, the host is not busy with anyone in videochat.

I only know because a host told me. Many of the hosts here are excellent sources of information. I rely on the hosts mainly in Glamour and shy to keep me up to date on site procedures.

The old CC hosting program forced the host to fix both prices (open & 121) before being able to press the last button and open a new session. Many hosts put at that time very high 121 min. price not related to her open min. price and ask their viewers to choose 121 if he likes to see her nude.

CC new hosting program used the case that was dedicated to put 121 price to contain a percentage that can vary from 1 % till 100% this percentage will be added to open min. price to generate the 121 option min. price. I don't think you are a host. It is not possible for a host to "opt out" from offering a 121 session and only show open session in the way you say. Also the minimum price for 121 has always 20pct higher than a hosts open session price and the maximum 121 price has always been double the hosts open session price. However the absolute maximum price for open session is $5.00 and for 121 is $6.00

And it does not prevent other viewers on any of the other sites the host happens to be live on at the time. I've been in countless 121's over time that were exactly the same as open video.

He did not say that 121 always guarantees a nude show. He said that some hosts asked members to go 121 if the want to see her nude. If a host promises a member in open video that she will get nude if he goes 121 that normally guarantees it. If she does not get nude the member can complain to CC.

I know what CC FAQ's say. However in practice this only applies to the categories in which hosts are obliged to give a show in open session. In categories such as glamour and littleshy where a host is not obliged to give any show in open or 121 she is free to set conditions. The point is once a host commits to get naked in 121 she has to do this.

Yes you are correct that we have gotten used to the practice in softcore categories of having a host require 121 for a nude show. And in theory you are correct that if a host promised a nude show, she is obligated to do as she says. But theory is theory and the facts are the facts. I know what I've seen with my own eyes.and countless times a host has suggested 121 for "more" and that meant more talk and maybe her dressing in lingerie. Maybe you have seen different and I can not argue against what you have seen,, but I know what I saw or did not see. Words are cheap, seeing is believing. Hosts are very smart and they know that once you see the "goods" its on the the next host. So by not showing the "goods" , they keep you coming back chasing that impossible dream. Its human nature to want very badly what you can not have. So smart hosts keep waving that carrot in front of you, a carrot you will never see. It is a very successful strategy used by smart hosts over the years on cc. You can ask any softcore host you choose and each and everyone will tell you cc is the best. And their number one reason is that nudity is not required in softcore categories in addition to several hardcore categories such as pre recorded videos, dungeon and fetish.

The main thing is to get a specific commitment in open video. "Seeing more" is not enough. If you aske the host "do you get naked in 121" and she says yes you should seldom be disappointed.

You are correct. And more and more are choosing to show less. Nudity is becoming more scarce every day, except for a few places I know.

rules are the same, but different traditions. Glamour was created to limit the adult performance on non-adult section such as friends and long term. Soft core was the title. Glamour was considered as a step forward adult. Little shy was there too. non-adult hosts that like to appear topless or show some nude switch to Glamour differentiating themselves from the already logging on lil shy hosts. Glamour conserved its non-adult spirit , while lil shy keep running into hard core.

When glamour was created it was not soft core. It was not even an adult category. It was reclassified as adult softcore as many hosts there were giving adult shows.

All adult categories are essentially the same depending on the host. You can get an instant action performance from one host and another could refuse to do anything but chat. It runs the entire gamut. Some Glamour hosts will try and tell you they are limited by rules as to what they CAN do...and that is not true.

That is a very open question and depending what category a host is in would certainly determine her answer. Think you should ask more specifically for a category to get any kind of consensus from it. In Glam I like to chat, tease and flirt and excite you.

Christmas falls on an awkward day this year since its next Saturday.
And since many stores close early on Christmas eve (which will be Friday) that means with the work week starting, TODAY is really the last chance to squeeze any last minute shopping in for alot of people. by far the best cc game i ever played. was playing with my new friend elena. we were kickin ass and taking names! that freakin yeti didnt have a chance! 600 points, x3! 1500, x3! hell, yeah! it didnt even cross my mind that there was a hot ass woman lying seductively on her bed! didnt matter. i was out to win me some moola from cc. so what if my funds were depleting. this contest was mine! my name was moving up the rankings. 30 minutes to go! 15...10....5....all done! when it came time to placing the winners.....WTF! no where to be seen!!!

Now as we all know there is always a "but" and here is it, in joe's world i would limit it to one prize per host and viewer and that includes all your multiple accounts.

are there any technical issues with the game? i mean pulling the slingshot? i am assuming left drag the fire and then let go? mine does not function at all. is there a particular operating system, browser, etc that is needed to play?

I thought that at first too but then realised I had more than one game pending and that's why I couldn't play straight away. So you have to first choose how many games you want to bet and then click on New Game. Then the sling works!

I ran into one with my car when I was in the Himalayas last winter. Was really weird experience, too. Did you know they bounce? Just like a rubber ball. Bad thing was, the Yeti was between my car and a stone wall, and when I hit him he bounced off the car, into the wall, bounced off the wall to the car, and it went on like that for about 10 minutes. Practically destroyed my car, but the Yeti just thanked me for the good time, and walked away, smoking a cigarette.

I no longer drink. I quit in September of 2009. My drinking went from being an occasional thing to a hobby to a full time job...so I quit. I found when I got drunk I did a lot more videos...however....during one video I did fall asleep. I forget the host...she knew I was hammered...but she had the decency to close the session after a minute or two of no response from me. I regret a few things in my life but one of the biggies is drinking...the money..the health..the wasted time being wasted or hung over. Don't want to be a buzz kill but for many of you young guys...in 40 years...you may be posting the same thing. So drink in moderation and merry christmas.
