The topic has been argued long and hard over the years in these forums. Is it a porn site or is it not. Is it a fantasy site or is it not and so on. One thing for sure, it is an adult site. Every member and host must be over 18 or over the majority age from their community. I think most viewers would agree it is a fantasy site. I know I do in every respect even just chatting on line to a lovely young lady which would never happen in the real world. Sadly some members get caught in their fantasy here and can no longer separate it from the real world.

Over time there have many people, including myself, that have been critical of CC's guideline descriptions of the categories and of the categories themselves. And to be honest, they are far from perfect, but they are much more honest than 2 competing sites, which I shall not name.

Both have a non nude section within their nude girl category. Its not misleading, it is outright fraud. One has a listing of host's willingness and those that have strip as one are not even allowed to strip in pvt even if they want to. The other one has free video preview and under the host name a button saying click here of host's nude show. And yet here again the host is not allowed nudity even if she wants to. CC gives girls in the Softcore categories the freedom to choose hat she wants to do.

So kudos to the CC staff for doing a tough job well.

In November 2004, a panel of experts testified before a Senate subcommittee that a product which millions of Americans consume is dangerously addictive. They were talking about pornography.

The effects of porn on the brain were called "toxic" and compared to cocaine. One psychologist claimed "prolonged exposure to pornography stimulates a preference for depictions of group sex, sadomasochistic practices, and sexual contact with animals."

It used to be that if you wanted to see pornography, you had to go out and buy a magazine or rent a video. Store hours and available space under the mattress placed some limits on people's porn habits.

Now there are an estimated 420 million adult web pages online. "For the person who has difficulty stopping, more is only one click away," says sex therapist Louanne Cole Weston, PhD.

There's no doubt that some people's porn consumption gets them in trouble -- in the form of maxed-out credit cards, lost sleep, neglected responsibilities, or neglected loved ones. But Weston is one who takes issue with calling problem behavior involving porn an addiction. "'Compulsive' is more appropriate," she tells WebMD.

Compulsion or Addiction
The difference between describing the behavior as a compulsion or an addiction is subtle, but important.

Erick Janssen, PhD, a researcher at the Kinsey Institute, criticizes the use of the term addiction when talking about porn because he says it merely describes certain people's behavior as being addiction-like, but treating them as addicts may not help them.

Many people may diagnose themselves as porn addicts after reading popular books on the subject, he says. But mental health professionals have no standard criteria to diagnose porn addiction.

Mary Anne Layden, PhD, a psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania, was one of the witnesses at the Senate hearing on pornography addiction. She says the same criteria used to diagnose problems like pathological gambling and substance abuse can be applied to problematic porn use.

"The therapists who treat pornography addicts say they behave just like any other addicts," she tells WebMD.

One of the key features of addiction, she says, is the development of a tolerance to the addictive substance. In the way that drug addicts need increasingly larger doses to get high, she thinks porn addicts need to see more and more extreme material to feel the same level of excitement they first experienced.

"Most of the addicts will say, well, here's the stuff I would never look at, it's so disgusting I would never look at it, whatever that is -- sex with kids, sex with animals, sex involving feces," she says. "At some point they often cross over."

Janssen disputes that people who look at porn typically progress in such a way. "There is absolutely no evidence to support that," he tells WebMD.

I often will see hosts in glamour and little shy with pretty low open prices that have much higher 121 prices. I have no problem with these hosts charging whatever they want. If they can get enough members at their given prices to make them happy, that is certainly their right. Nor do I have a problem with a glamour or little shy host saying she only strips in 121. Again, that is her right under the rules.

But I wonder how hosts and members think about this. For my part, the lower price will sometimes get me to enter video to see how a host looks if I like her pics and just chat once there if that is all she is willing to do. Then, I will sometimes move to 121 to see more if I think the price is worth it. But, that is a big "IF".

Once I am moving to 121 and paying a higher price, that host is now competing with all the other hosts at that higher price. For example, if I am chatting with a little shy host at $1,00/min open and $2,00/min 121, the second I learn I can only see more in 121, I have to ask myself 1) is it worth it to me to see this particular host for $2,00/min and 2) what other hosts can I see strip at $2,00/min and would I prefer one of these hosts? In other words, when I am in open, the host is competing with hosts at around $1,00, but if I must jump to 121, now every host up to $2,00 is now a reasonable option. There are many hosts that I would pay $1,00 for that there is no way I'd pay $2,00 for.

I just was curious if hosts consider things like this when setting their prices. Yes, a low open price can help get business, but if the 121 price is too much higher, the member might just move on to another host. And if I was curious if other members think about things the same way. Again, I have no issue with a host charging what she wants and IF glamour or little shy, saying she only strips in 121. But like I said, the second the price is going up, the host is now competing with a lot of other hosts for my business, whether I am already in open or just asking what she will do in text chat.

Pornography is the depiction of sexual behavior that is intended to arouse sexual excitement in its audience. During the twentieth century, Americans debated whether pornographic material should be legally protected or banned. Those who believe pornography must be protected argue that the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of expression, including sexual expression. Traditional opponents of pornography raise moral concerns, arguing that the First Amendment does not protect expression that corrupts people's behavior. Toward the end of the century, some feminists advocated suppressing pornography because it perpetuates gender stereotypes and promotes violence against women.

Pornography has been regulated by the legal standards that govern the concept of Obscenity, which refers to things society may consider disgusting, foul, or immoral, and may include material that is blasphemous. Pornography is limited to depictions of sexual behavior and may not be obscene.

The U.S. Supreme Court has established that obscenity is not protected by the First Amendment. The more troublesome question has been defining what is and is not obscene. In 1957, the U.S. Supreme Court, in roth v. united states, 354 U.S. 476, 77 S. Ct. 1304, 1 L. Ed. 2d 1498, stated that obscenity is "utterly without redeeming social importance" and therefore is not protected by the First Amendment. The Roth test for obscenity is "whether to the average person, applying contemporary community standards, the dominant theme of the material taken as a whole appeals to a prurient [lewd or lustful] interest." The Roth test proved difficult to use because every term in it eluded a conclusive definition.

The Supreme Court added requirements to the definition of obscenity in a 1966 case involving the English novel Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure, more commonly known as Fanny Hill. In A Book Named "John Cleland's Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure" v. Attorney General, 383 U.S. 413, 86 S. Ct. 975, 16 L. Ed. 2d 1, the Court concluded that to establish obscenity, the material must, aside from appealing to the prurient interest, be "utterly without redeeming social value" and "patently offensive because it affronts contemporary community standards relating to the description of sexual matters." A man walks into a bar with a paper bag. He sits down and places the bag on the counter. The bartender walks up and says, “Hey, what's in the bag?”

So, the man reaches into the bag and pulls out a little man, all of about maybe 12 inches tall, and he sets him on the counter.

He reaches back into the bag and pulls out a small piano. Then he reaches into the bag pulls out a tiny piano bench.

The little man sits down at the piano and starts playing a beautiful piece by Mozart.

"Where on earth did you get that?", the bartender asks.

The man responds by reaching into the paper bag and pulling out what looks like a little genie lamp. He hands it to the bartender and says, "Here, rub it."

A woman went up to the bar in a quiet rural pub.
