chathost's sorrow

Today a guy entered my video, said he is new at CC, said he was from US and asked me where I was from. I never tell my country, except after I think I know the guy and make friends, so I said "I am in Europe" . He asked me further: Are you Russian? or Moldovian? I said "I'm in my bed.. :)", but he immediately said"Oh, I only like honesty. Bye." and left.
I don't say where I am from to viewers because there are many people who are looking for escorts in East European countries, and I just want to keep it virtual. I don't think it's about honesty here. But about a bored, severe guy who thinks that if he pays a few tens of cents /min, he has the right to my friendship, my life story, my personal details etc etc. I'm talking about a type of guys, not just about this guy. The type of guys that blame host and try to make her feel guilty for not telling all about her to a perfect stranger.
I'm sorry, but my personal life, with all its aspects, including my country, is private, personal, and it doesn't concern anyone. I only talk about such aspects to guys that I know for a while and feel them close.
I do have a brilliant and sexy conversation (viewers' opinion), and I do a super adult show, I am at the top of the list always, I just don't feel like talking about where I live. It's an option that should be respected, like I respect their right to privacy. One guy, after I avoided to tell him where I live, accused me of being ugly, older than I posted in my profile, not sexy at all and told me I should shave my pussy. When I told him that many guys like me hairy (trimmed actually), he said they all lie because they just want to see me with my legs spread. That viewer came two more times just to insult me and give me bad ratings, as he told me, although I never said anything bad to him; I didn't respond to his urge to revenge and argue and that was the thing that pissed him off, I think.
I just want to say that friendship is gained, not paid, I am a supernice host, but some guys are realy abusive and mean.

Relax dear.......i understand you....but if you for example are living in a city , not in a small village , do you think ...are you afraid that guy will go to that city and screaming your name he will be able to meet you ?
You are right , but dont you think you are over-reacting a bit ?

RE: chathost's sorrow

Is it over-reacting... or just venting? I say the latter.

I visit another sight pretty often; one that has free video with an open chat. So I understand how frustrating it can be when viewers act so, shall I say, immature. I think a lot of guys think that just because women are chathosts, and that it is just fantasy, that it's okay to treat them as something other than human.

as usually your defending who? very immature.

Reply

RE: to masterT

If I was going to be immature, I'd point out that you used 'your' instead of the correct 'you're.'

Reply

RE: to masterT

Oh, and to add to it, you wrote 'usually' when you should have written 'usual.'

Reply

RE: to masterT

Yes....and you used "sight" instead of "site", what is this fatuous satisfaction you get from pointing out people's errors?

Reply

RE: to masterT

Hehe, good catch there; my mistake. As for me correcting "the man," you obviously didn't read what I wrote in the first place.

Reply

RE: to masterT

Part of maturity means having real adult relationships, not an online one only, and it seems from your history here that you don't (be honest now Mastertech, you know i am right ;-). so stop calling others immature and playing the game called "gotta-you" because as you can see others can play that with you as well.

When a host asks me where I'm from I sometimes say "earth" or "my mom" just for laughs.
Only an idiot would be so "anal" (pardon the term) to disreguard another person based on what country they are from...I say you didn't lose much except money...oh wait...nevermind.

RE: chathost's sorrow

Its ok to keep ur hometown a personal secret if ur afraid people want to chase you. If your not I dont see any harm in it. Look at it this way, when you meet someone in the street, you of ten start with talking about the wetaher, right? Wierd eh, but just how it is..
In here weather is strange to talk about so "where ur from" might actually be the dry start of a better conversation. Some ask because theire shy and it might give them enough guts to continue talking with a sexy lady. Some find its interesting and of course some know the city or is "going" there sometime.
All in all,, playing along might not be so bad after all..you might end up that the member likes you and enters your vid.
Just my 2 cents

here we go again ... poor dumb member picking on the hard working host but .... if your business seems a little slow ... maybe it is because so many hosts blur the line between fantasy and lies ... it is OK I guess ... many lie ... but to consistantly lie - will end up hurting the interactions with all members and guests. I respect those hosts who can be realise the difference tand on thier actions .. they are the ones that the members will appreciate. So if your business is not good - maybe it is because you messed it up for yourself and everyone.

Long Distance Pleasures

For the guys who are crazy enough to think you having an exclusive long distance relationship with a girlfriend, especially in Russia or Romania.

What do you do for her? Spiritual Support, Email, Cards & Letters, Gifts, Flowers, Travel, Money?

What does she give you in return?

How long has this lasted and when do you plan to be together?

I am thinking this is way too Crazy even for a Crazy man like myself.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

I supose not, but it might be cow pies... it is not so easy.. to be sure... to trust... and to know when it will change to always real...

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

You are not right to expect/demand exclusivity in a long-term relationship initiated on the net until you have both met and taken stock of each other.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

I'm not a crazy guy who thinks he is in an exclusive long distance relationship, but a kind of "relationship", yes -- one limited for the time being by this website and a little IM. I think it's unfair and unrealistic to pretend such a relationship (or any relationship?) would be exclusive, even if by chance it were. I don't know. All I is know is I like her.

I try to give respectful distance, but also to communicate enough to keep a hope alive. Just words. Reason says you should meet first before declaring how you really feel. But as Melomane pointed out in a Pascal quote, the heart knows what reason doesn't. Hopefully, whatever connection there might be doesn't die before the opportunity to meet.

Even limited by wires, cameras and words, feelings can develop into near rapture. Those feelings seem sometimes like nuclear power that must be handled carefully and with respect.

One poster suggested a few weeks ago that a strong and mature woman can find emotional satisfaction despite the limits. But with what input from a man? Good question. I sure don't know the answer, and am probably failing in my own attempt to nurture a rapport with a host that I am in fact crazy about. (I guess I am a crazy guy, after all) But I don't dare admit it -- not until I can look into her eyes and say, "wow, it's great to finally meet you". (I'm sure I will want to edit this a thousand times after I post it, and it may not respond exactly to the question posed in the post. Oh well.

maybe solomon isnt handling that "nuclear power" very well. he is perhaps not so considerate of others' feelings. he is learning to understand better the position of swiss neutrality, given the limits of this so-called virtual world. that position seems the fairest, the most honest, and the most trustworthy.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

so.... Where are the answers to the questions... and in my case, be sure we meet more than once... what makes you think that meeting makes it less of a game?

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

If you are experienced with human beings, looking into the eyes usually tells all. Or at least tells if it's a "game" or not . Mature persons can decide what to do after that.

If you yourself are in love so deeply you will see what you wish to see and fool yourself. You do the task for the decption yourself. Her eyes tell me it was real, her actions make me think different.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

If a person discovers -- in any relationship, venture, pursuit, or other human activity -- that he (or she, for those who may not understand that "he" is gender neutral in the English language) is fooling himself, then he adjusts and goes on. He learns. He grows, and, if healthy, does not spend time regretting too much. I think the point is to DO the loving, to do the seeking, to do the work, to engage in the pursuit. To LIVE, in short. Even if "falling in love" is a delusion, I welcome it. I am grateful for it. I think it's more a choice or a state of mind, and comes from within the individual.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

I will agree that real love does not require any reciprocation. And as they say better to have loved and failed then to have never loved at all. Only a very selfish person will never know real love.

Reply

RE: Long Distance Pleasures

I met in real life one of the first girls I was crazy for some time ago. It was immediately apparent in real life that we didn't have a "connection." Real life meetings are VERY important.

It's just a risky thing to fall in love with a girl/guy from a foreign country, not crazy. The risk of not having a happy-end story is bigger, but it's definitely not crazy to fall in love.
But if you start with a negative opinion, if you set yourself for dissapointment, then you most probably will be dissapointed. For a relationship, it needs to have your heart available and your soul open. One just needs a little courage and trust. Local relationships are risky too! :)

Keep up the good work.

Also I think its not about giving or receiving , but are the feelings real or fantasy, i think it can work from a distance, but eventually something has to give, and a decision has to be made, do you move to be together, and who does the moving?Or change the relationship to platonic.
Too many things to consider in a short forum, but over time, it's been discussed so many times here, one day maybe we will get a definitive answer.

Then maybe not.

Reply

RE: question abt. outfits

Dana,

I think you will find members' tastes vary. Frankly, when a woman dresses to look cheap, it doesn't appeal to me. That isn't to say I don't like outfits that are sexually alluring. I do. But a woman has lots of options that complement her sexual appeal and since no particular manner of dress is going to please all guests, I think each woman has to decide what is most becoming to her.

Some women often have a number of different roles that appeal to some guys, and one can see this in their photo archives. (For example, school girl; sophisticate with the little black dress; cheap slut, etc.) Others stick to one manner of dress.

Since, in the end, you can't please every taste here, do what you are most comfortable with. And just being yourself is more likely to attract guests than playing a role or dressing in a way that is alien to your own taste. After all, even theatre people often refuse to play certain kinds of roles because they are unable to play a certain type of character.

CC is the Way life should be

I love this place. Where could get such hotties to show their stuff to you for so little money at at your time schedule?

Also as you get to know specific ones and you get tired of one you just pick another.

It just doesn't get any better than this in the real world :)

Hi, i'm a new CC member and...

I am happy to have found CC because some girls seem to be nice and attractive and this forum is also interesting. Therefore, I wonder why forums seem to be not equal. I explain, it seems that everybody can read Viewer forum because there is no requested login to get access except to write there; but the reciprocal does not exist for the access to the Chathost forum. I mean that we must have Chathost account even only to read... Then, do you think that this difference is logical?

We respect the girls privacy and allow them to have secrets.

But don't worry - it's not too exciting. Only "where are all the viewrs??!" and "let's raise our prices" and "how can I make more money?" It's rather boring.

And on the other you say

Democracy cannot survive overpopulation. Human dignity cannot survive it. Convenience and decency cannot survive it. As you put more and more people into the world, the value of life not only declines, it disappears. It doesn't matter if someone dies. The more people there are, the less one individual matters.

RE: top 5

Isaac, Good to see you here! I read a couple of your many books. So this is where people go when they die, huh? Well, I suppose it could be worse.

I understand your argument about population and the significance of the individual, but I respectfully disagree. Your argument is Malthusian and as such a bit gloomy, even if it is altogether rational.

I have no quarrel with the argument as such. As I said, it is rational. My problem is that it is ONLY rational and upon closer examination is not supported by the evidence of human experience. A man is only diminished and of less significance if the only economic measure is a purely material one. What's more, such a view is reductive and by design fails to take into account other equally important--if not MORE important--elements of a qualitative nature.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to make a case for poverty. It has devastating effects and does, in fact, crush people and rob them of their dignity. However, human experience does not bear out your assumption that the greater the population, the less significant the individual. The cruel irony is that in a developed country like the US, which has taken the Western notion of "individualism" to its limit, the "individual"--who is supposedly enjoying the greatest degree of "freedom"---matters much less than an individual in a small village in India, poor though he may be. His material wealth is marginal, but a part of his wealth is the warmth of family ties and a sense of social connectedness from which Westerners have, in varying degrees, been alienated. So, in an alienated state, the "individual" seeks some sort of connectedness and may well come here, for example!

RE: top 5

I've read a few nasty predicitions about the consequences of global human overpopulation, and they freak me out. If hostilities between countries today over energy is cause for concern, imagining what might come of shortages of resources as basic as potable water and arable land makes me cringe.

And as for that village in India, maybe it's just a matter of my ethnocentrism, but if I were born a woman into such a society, if I only had value as a human being in relation to a husband who bought me for a dowry, and if I were expected to jump on his funeral pyre if he were to die before me, I imagine I'd be praying for that sense of individualism and all the freedoms that that concept necessarily entails.

I know where you're coming from though. People banding together and forging strong social bonds is a good thing. But I just think it's a much better situation when they're formed voluntarily and not out of a very basic need to survive.

Nat, If it is you again, I know you understand that an "argument" (or idiomatically in this case, "quarrel") does not = a fight. But whoever you might be, I suspect it is you who wants to fight, not me. If, on the other hand, you have anything you'd like to contribute to the discussion of the topic at hand, by all means share your ideas.

RE: top 5

Misanthrope,

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. (I started to reply earlier, but lost my internet connection, so composed my thoughts on Word, which is always a safer bet.) I don’t disagree with the points you make. I know where you are coming from as well. As we both know, it’s a complex and daunting problem. The consequences of overpopulation are frightening, and the leaders of the affluent nations better treat the matter with the seriousness that it deserves. About a half-dozen years ago I remember reading a cover story from the business weekly, Barrons. The headline was something like, “The Coming Water Wars.”* It was, quite naturally, published from a business perspective and did not broach the ethical questions inherent in this development.

The focus of the article was on companies that have developed new technologies that have made it possible to convert salt water—of which there is no short supply---to potable water in areas of the world in which there is little or none. Hitherto, only countries like Saudi Arabia would pay for such conversion by means of distillation, which was prohibitively expensive. (I can’t recall, but it made the price per gallon much more expensive than any existing traditional waterworks facility---up until recently, nearly all publicly run and regulated facilities). By comparison, there is a process known as “reverse osmosis” in which the salt water passes through some membrane or some such thing, thereby extracting the salt, and does so at a price that is still not as cheap as natural water supplies, but may cost only 2x as much as opposed to 10 or 20 times. Thus private water companies that buy and use these technologies are selling to various governments as well as hotel chains. The Caribbean area is the area with which I’m familiar in this regard, but it has made its way around the world.

Surely such technological developments cannot be counted as a bad thing, but it does bring into greater relief the global spectacle of the conflicts over precious resources and arguably creates a greater divide between the Haves and Have Nots. Long before this technology was available, the water wars had begun. In fact, we need not leave our continent to find examples. In the Southwest , securing water rights has been a heated political issue for decades , and invariably the rights go to the rich and powerful who buy the politicians to do their bidding. And, after the water is parceled out, the last on the list to get water are the Mexicans, for whom the Rio Grande---to take a prime example---was a principal source of water. Now, by the time it gets to them, it is a mere trickle. Another example is the way water has been diverted by Israel for its own benefit, at the expense of those to whom the water naturally flowed. Let’s face it, the more affluent nations have the capital to embark on the kinds of engineering projects that are simply impossible for poorer nations. So, as you say, imagining shortages of these basic resources in the areas with a growing population and without these natural resources, or from whom these natural resources have been taken as a result of developments by their more affluent neighbors upstream, makes me cringe too. My only hope is that these new technologies be used to some advantage for the ‘Have Nots’ as well. After all, in areas where there is no potable water to steal or divert, the prospect of providing it for ALL is not impossible if those in charge have both a vision and wisdom to see that decreasing the gap between the rich and the poor will make for greater social harmony, hence prosperity.

As to your points about the social injustices in that Indian village and the women simply being relegated to little more than chattel, I don’t disagree with you. Even more egregiously horrible are the clitorectomies that are routinely performed in parts of Africa, the abolishment of which has become—quite understandably ---a ‘cause celebre’ for women in the developed world.

There are those who believe---a la Jean-Jacque Rousseau---that for every step of progress mankind has made materially, there is a corresponding loss of spiritual progress. It’s a nice neat construct and no doubt there are elements of truth to the claim. But it’s not that simple. Nevertheless, our “Pizza for One” society, man alone at last---the never intended result of a society that overvalues “individualism,”---strikes me as a sort of poverty, and should give all of us pause and make us humbly concede that the bounty we enjoy is deficient in some very significant ways and that the lives of much of mankind who live at a subsistence level are infinitely richer than our own.

RE: top 5

The representation of hosts and members here is not a function of population, but of global economic realities. The site is a microcosm of the global economy insofar as the hosts--with few exceptions--are from countries with depressed economies (Russia, former Soviet bloc countries in Eastern Europe [principally Romania], the Phillipines [from which most of the Asians here come], and Columbia, South America [from which most of the Latinos here come]). The guests, on the other hand are almost all---again with few exceptions---from Western countries with healthy economies: US; Western Europe [lots of Germans]; Australia, and some from the healthier Asian economies, such as Japan. Thus, you will find few, if any hosts from Tokyo, but some guests, just as you will find few hosts from New York, but lots of guests.

It is also a function of the owners of the site (and others like it, in which you will find similar demographics), who understand these economic realities and exploit them accordingly. My sense, although I have only indirect knowledge of this, is that the owners of many of these sites are Russian--many of whom have Russian/American connections.
