i believe what simply is being said here, is that of all the religions in the world, the Muslims of Islam, at least in modern day, are the more violent of any other group, and no, they appear not to see the irony of it all. Unfortunately, it's fair to say the vilolence may escalate. But then in an open society, newspapers of the media should be able to print what they so chose. If it's deemed to be stupid or offensive by other ethinc/ religious groups to print such cartoons, then these groups simply don't understand the infrastructure of free and open societies to print such things, nor will they ever, and that is a pity! Hence a Culture Clash......:(........But agreed, people in general can and do appear to be very stupid sometimes!

It's a valid point LOL. Yes, ever since biblical times the Arab tribes of the Middle East have been fighting each other. It has often been said that if they were all capable of uniting as one, they would pose a formidable threat to the rest of the world. This is something however that all throughout history, the Islamic world has never been able to do. Even in modern times they have failed miserably as allies in three seperate wars against Israel. The Six-Day War in 1967, is but one example of how Egypt, Jordon, Syria, and Palestinian forces, were completely and utterly defeated in just 6 days. One important reason for this is that as Allies, they were not able to correlate all of their forces in concentrated attacks; and without effective communications, the Arab counterattack not only failed but was almost annihilated. Now you have Hamas as the new Palestinian leadership, and yet still they are "splintered," and un-united. But this news of course is nothing new. Using history as a tool of "past track records," what makes anybody think the Islamic world is ever going to form a 'united front?' So agreed, yes, even if these people were the only people left on this earth, they would eventually fight among themselves, until no one was left! Where does that leave us? Once again with a minority of (non-unified) Extremists. Unfortunately even a minority can cause a lot of havoc! :((

I had a small setback with the matter transmitter (teleportation machine to the lay person). I had a dodgy relay on the external plasma return loop and ended up shunting all the positrons through the exciter coil for the free electron laser and causing a reverse cascade down the emitter array. Yeah, I know what youre gonna say normally this isnt too much of a problem because the feedback to the undulator override interlock would catch it before the emitter went critical ... but I was running the feedback loop with my neighbors Commodore 64 computer because my Cray XT3 was in the shop for repairs, and it unfortunately it couldnt handle the additional load so the interlock didnt trip and we all know what THAT means, right! Im ok though they say the skin graft should take and Ill be my old handsome self again in no time. Ive got a new relay now and Ive almost got the emitter repaired. The FEL took a beating but I used the radiator from the neighbors 67 Oldsmobile Cutlass to patch up the undulator cooling coil so we should be back in action soon. I will keep you informed ...

ok, NOW you tell me! I had problems with the ZX in the time machine/bagel toaster I built last year (I think it was a problem with wide range of choices of bagel types available these days compared to 1982-83 when Sinclair threw that baby together), and the C64 seemed to work just fine in the geosynchronous satellite with the micro-Hubble telescope I sent up a couple of months ago to spy into my neighbors bedroom. In this latest case, I think there was just too much going on with the undulator feedback loop and the C64 couldn't keep up with both that and the game of Daley Thompson's Olympic Challenge I was playing at the time. Life is a learning experience and I think I have learned something valuable from this ...

other way around actually ... the Star Trek people got all their ideas from me ... they never really paid for them but I got some on-screen time as large alien plant in an episode from the second season of Star Trek:TNG ... plus I got a handjob from Commander Data so it wasn't all bad ...

Yes. It is correct and it is too simplified at the same time. It is also a generalization about genders and there are exceptions and individuals in each gender who will vary greatly from the norm.
